This was seconded and carried <br />unanimously. <br />MATTERS FOR INFOR- <br />MATION OF COMMISSION Mr. Castro outlined to the Commission a <br />request from Singer Housing for final <br />occupancy of their development known as <br />Las Positas. <br />Mr. Castro further advised the Commission <br />that it was his understanding that instead <br />of seeding the grass area, sod would be <br />installed by the developer and that this <br />would be confirmed by the representative <br />from Singer Housing. <br />Dennis Cheney, representing Singer Housing <br />Company, was present and did confirm the <br />fact that sod would be installed in lieu <br />of seeding for the lawn areas. He further <br />expressed to the Commission that a cash bond <br />would be provided to the City as an addition 1 <br />protection pending final approval by the <br />City staff. <br />Mr. John Bowling, Director of the Housing;-. <br />Authority of the City of Pleasa nton, was <br />present and reported that there are only <br />four families left in Kottinger Village. <br />Some are waiting to be moved to the Singer <br />development. <br />The staff was directed by the Commission to <br />require a performance bond for the completio <br />of the landscaping satisfactory to the staff <br />Mr. Castro reported that Murco Development <br />had requested to be heard by the Commission <br />- 9 - <br />
