N. 1138, Appr~ <br />Commissioner Wood entered a resolution to <br />approve this application with the staff <br />recommendations. This was seconded by <br />Commissioner Pons for the vote but there <br />were two noes, one aye and one abstention, <br />resulting in denial of this application. <br />The applicant was informed of his right to <br />appeal this action to the City Council. <br />Hacienda Mobile Home Park, 3231 Vineyard A <br />a request to relocate frontage fence. <br />Mr. Castro outlined the applicant`s request <br />and displayed the exhibit on this property. <br />He expressed to the Commission his concern <br />was that the fence may tend to hide the <br />landscaping. <br />Mr. Richard McDonnell, property owner and ', <br />applicant, was present and explained that ~, <br />the original purpose of the fence was to ' <br />screen the mobile home park from Vineyard <br />Ave. That in reviewing the physical condi- <br />tions of the property it was discovered that <br />because of the difference in elevation betwe< <br />the mobile home park and the roadbed, the <br />installation of the fence with the 15 foot <br />setback would result in no screening of the <br />proposed development.
