They further expressed a concern with <br />the compatibility of a two-story structure <br />in a predominently single family residential' <br />area. There was also some expression given <br />by the Commission as to the current traffic ' <br />problems on Vineyard Avenue. <br />Mr. Bud Plato was present and confirmed that' <br />this parcel was approved for a four-plex <br />structure in 1966. <br />Several members of the audience addressed <br />the Commission. Cy Potts, 367 Mavis Drive, <br />expressed opposition to the plan as he did <br />believe multiple units should be allowed in <br />this area. <br />Mr. Barry Nichols, 325 Mavis Drive, stated <br />that he was owner of Lot 2, and did not agre <br />with this proposal as he felt parking would <br />be a problem and he stated that the resident <br />of Vineyard Terrace were assured that all <br />the homes in this area would be single famil <br />housing. <br />Mr. Robert Watson, 348 Mavis Drive, objected <br />as this project would be going in across the <br />street from him, and also felt this use was <br />out of line with the rest of the area. <br />Mr. Robert Myers, 332 Mavis Drive, felt Vine <br />yard Ave. already is a hazard, parking and <br />trafficwise, and stated that the way the are <br />was terraced privacy was stressed. <br />As no one else wished to speak, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />It <br />- 6 - <br />
