Busk and Raymond E. Hansen - to Noes: <br />allow mobile homes to be displayed as models Absent: <br />at the Vineyard YZo?pile Estates Mobile Home Abstain: <br />Park, 3263 Vineyard Ave., Pleasanton. These <br />two requests were considered together. <br />Mr. Castro stated his opposition to this con ept. <br />Mr. John Corley, representing both applicant , <br />was present. There was considerable discuss on <br />regarding the legality of sales on the premi es. <br />City Attorney, Bill Hirst, stated that unles <br />there is some specific provision allowing th , <br />sales are not allowed, but the Commission <br />does have descretion in the matter. <br />'There was more discussion on the possibility <br />~,of allowing sales in the park. Mr. Castro <br />'.remarked that if the Commission is going to <br />vary from the intent of the Zoning District,. <br />perhaps a mobile home park ordinance should <br />be considered, which would also provide the <br />necessary controls. <br />Chairman Garrigan and Commissioner Hirst <br />expressed agreement with this suggestion. <br />The City Attorney stated that a comprehensi <br />mobile home park ordinance could be ready <br />for presentation to the Commission within <br />six months and Chairman Garrigan suggested <br />this use could be approved pending the <br />adoption of said ordinance and entered a <br />resolution to approve both applications for <br />a period of six months and also that there <br />be no advertising allowed. <br />Commissioner Hirst felt that this was not an <br />acceptable compromise and the vote was taken <br />The resolution was carried with three ayes <br />and one no. <br />- 4 - <br />t <br />
