4~$~SA1yToy CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~; <br />.~..0.9~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D at@ December 14, 1971 <br />Time : 8:0o PM <br />PIaCe; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />As no one else wished to speak, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />There was considerable discussion regarding <br />streets, parking and traffic patterns. <br />Mr. Bob Brown of San Ramon Village Co. was <br />present and reviewed the staff report with <br />regard to the Conditions they had objections <br />to. <br />The Commission discussed the conditions to b <br />modified and added to those recommended by <br />staff. With regard to Condition ~~15, a 50 f . <br />setback required for the widening of Hopyard <br />Road. ~~16 is changed to indicate a lb foot <br />wide dedication along Stoneridge Drive. Wit <br />regard to ~~18, the right angles at the inter <br />sections are to be straightened out. Added <br />conditions were that on frontyard setbacks <br />they shall be 40 feet, other than those on <br />Hopyard, which shall be 50 feet. All rear- <br />yard setbacks shall be 40 feet on through to s <br />from any street right of way. That an <br />additional street be constructed 54 feet in idth <br />parallel with Hopyard and between Street B. <br />That there be no on-street parking on the <br />west side of Hopyard Road and that there sha 1 <br />be no driveway closer than 400 feet to <br />Hopyard Road. <br />Chariman Garrigan entered a resolution to <br />approve the tentative map with staff Condit <br />and those imposed by the Commission. This <br />was carried with three ayes, and one no and <br />one abstention. <br />With regard to the rezoning, Chairma n Garrig <br />entered a resolution that the Council be <br />advised of the recommendation that tentative <br />map be placed in an Industrial P.U.D. This <br />was seconded by Commissioner Wood. Mr. <br />Brown objected because the possible buyers <br />would then need more approvals and felt the <br />City's architectural control through Design <br />Review was enough. The vote was taken with <br />all Commissioners voting aye except one <br />a',~stention. <br />
