4y~~s"~~°y CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~o <br />~o=-~ Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DG18 : January 25, 1972 <br />Time : 7:00 PM <br />PIC1C8; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC Precise Plan Line - Rose Avenue - applicatio <br />HEARINGS of the City of Pleasanton for the establish- <br />ment of precise plan lines for Rose Avenue <br />PRECISE PLAN LINE between Pleasa nton Avenue and Fair Street. <br />Rose Avenue, Approved <br />Res. No. 1154 The Public Hearing was opened. Mr. Campbell <br />indicated that basically the comments applie <br />to the Railroad Avenue precise plan line, <br />would also apply to this application. Mr. <br />Sooby explained that this situation is un- <br />usual inasmuch as no right-of-way is being <br />preserved except where the street intersects <br />at Fair Street. Rose Avenue is presently <br />54 ft. wide curb-to-curb. Because of the <br />Fairgounds on the west side, parking is not <br />a proper consideration for this street. <br />The Engineering staff is proposing to elimi <br />all parking on the Fairgrounds side. The <br />precise plan line will provide fora 15 ft. <br />sidewalk and an 8 foot parking lane on the <br />residential side and two travel lanes, 12 a <br />14 ft. wide respectively. Many trees will <br />be preserved. <br />The Public Hearing was then closed, as no <br />further discussion ensued. <br />Upon resoltuion of Commissioner Wood, second <br />by Commissioner Hirst, and carried, the pre- <br />cise plan line for Rose Avenue as proposed b <br />the Engineering Department was adopted. <br />Proposed RMR Ordinance - Ordinance regulat <br />conversions from rented to owned housing. <br />This item was continued to March 14, 1972. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMIS- Arrow Rentals - Renewal of use permit for <br />SIONS REVIEW Arrow Rentals, 4301 Valley Avenue, Pleasant <br />(Western Sierra complex). <br />Z-71-138, Continued <br />Mr. Corley, representing the applicant, re- <br />quested a continuance to March 14, 1972, <br />which was granted to him. <br />Resolution: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />e <br />- 16 - <br />
