4y~~sA~~°y CITY of PLEASANTON
.~
g
`~~~° Plannin Commission
`~lIM tO ~
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
D G18 ; February 22, 1972
Time : s:oo PM
P~GCB; Pleasanton Justice Court
Bother parcels. These four properties were
,described as 1) the Vintage Hills area, 2)
'..the hill property, also known as the Tecton
property, 3) the Brown property (Wallace-
Plato application), and 4) the Morrison Home
16 acre PUD known as Creeks Bend.
Chairman Garrigan declared the public heari
opened. The following members of the
audience addressed the Commission.
Mr. John Corley, Attorney representing
Kreske-Myers. He referred to the RM-4000
zoned area located at the end of Del Sol
which he identified by Parcel No. 94-19-25.
He commented to the Commission that this
property was approved as per the rezoning
of the convalescent hospital. The balance
of that property was left at RM-4000. He
felt there has been sufficient study on this
property. He also felt that it is unfair to
blanket the entire group of properties into
a Study District.
Mr. C. J. Potts, 367 Mavis Drive, commented
on Lot 1, Tract 2537 (Brown property). He
feels that the present RM-4000 is spot zoni
and he referred to a petition he has circu-
lated and submitted to the City Council
asking that this zoning be changed. He
feels that consideration should be given
to make the necessary change on that parti-
cular property as a four-plex is out of
(character. A duplex would be more in
'',keeping with the neighborhood.
Mr. Lee Amaral, representing Frank Auf der
Maur, referred to the Vineyard Avenue propert
adjacent to the Auf der Maur apartments on
the north side near Christina Court. Mr.
Amaral did not feel that this matter was give
any previous evaluation. Chairman Garrigan
disagreed and explained that this has been
discussed at previous meetings and the reason
why such a stud}- district is needed has been
previously discussed.
- 2 -
