Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Commissioner Hirst noted that the elevation Abstain: <br />at this site is quite high and has a gradual <br />tapered slope. <br />Mr. Richard McDonnell, General Park Director <br />was present and explained that several resi- <br />dents in the park have asked that a fence no <br />be put up to allow a view of the Arroyo. <br />As no one else wished to speak, the Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br />The Commission expressed the feeling that a <br />fence would be necessary in order to keep <br />people from climbing up and down the embank- <br />ment. <br />It was suggested that a chain link fence <br />would afford a view and still be a protectio <br />to the area. Commissioner Wood entered a <br />motion that a 4 ft. chain link fence with <br />landscaping be installed along the embankmen . <br />This was seconded by Chairman Garrigan and <br />carried unanimously. <br />REFERRALS FROM CITY Foothill Road Rezoning - removal of S (Study Resolution: X <br />COUNCIL District from Foothill Road property and a Seconded: X <br />RZ-70-17, Reaffirmed modification of the zoning recommended by th Ayes: X X X <br />Recommendation - Planning Commission. <br />Res. No. 1166,Approv <br />Mr. Castro explained that this matter was <br />before the Commission for final recommenda- <br />tion to the City Council. <br />-12- <br />
