q~$~sAN~oy CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~~ ~~;. <br />.~ <br />~~° Planning Commission <br />+rr so t <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGfie : March 28, 1972 <br />Time : 8:00 P.M. <br />PIQCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Chairman Carrigan indicated that the <br />Commission would be interested in <br />seeing a summary of that report. <br />Mr. Andrews, Valley Memorial Hospita <br />Administrator, was present and state <br />that he has such a summary and that <br />he would provide the Commission with <br />said summary. Mr. Castro was dir- <br />ected by the Commission to contact <br />Mr. Andrews in this regard. <br />This application was continued until <br />April 25th with the instruction that <br />the applicant be notified that the <br />matter will be heard that night with <br />no further continuances. <br />MATTERS FOR COM- Appeal of Charles W. Crabb regarding ~ Resolutic <br />MISSIONS REVIEW administrative denial of V-72-6 for Seconded: <br />V-72-6, Denied an ice vending machine at Russell Ayes: <br />Res. No. 1169 Jones' Shell Station, 5251 Hopyard Noes: <br /> Road, Pleasanton. Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Commissioner Hirst informed the <br /> Commission that he had visited the <br /> site this morning and the machine <br /> has not been installed as was indi- <br /> cated in the staff report. <br />Commissioner Hirst further indicated <br />that he would support this type of <br />a service in a service station pro- <br />vided it complied with consumer <br />demand and was attractive in appear- <br />ance. He further indicated that <br />although he wasn't opposed to this <br />type of machine at any service stati <br />it would appear to be more valid <br />near the freeway. <br />Commissioner Pereira felt that the <br />size of the machine would be the <br />determining factor.
