4y$~-SA1yToy f ASA TON
CITY o PLE N
~ ~'i .
~~~° Planning Commission
...o
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte : March 28, 1972
Time : s:oo P.M.
PIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court
vehicles to be adopted for all City
parks and that a signing program for
directing equestrian trails be re-
viewed.
Mr. Patton asked for clarification
regarding model airplanes being
prohibited as well. The Commission
indicated that this use should not
be considered as part of the recom-
mendation, but suggested that Parks
and Recreation designate a specific
area for this type of use. Mr.
Patton indicated that they would
look into it.
Mr. Garrigan's motion was seconded
by Commission Pons and carried
unanimously.
PR-72-2, Referred
to a joint meeting PR-72-2, Abutting Parks with Public
Streets.
Gary Patton indicated that this pro-
posal was one the Parks and Recreati
Department has been supporting for
several years. The feeling is that
this would aid in park maintenance
and in safety factors, putting them
in full view of the streets.
Commissioner Pereira felt this would
exclude development of future linear
parks.
There were several questions raised
by the Commission regarding this
proposal and it was suggested by
Mr. Castro that this matter be
directed to a joint meeting with
the Parks and Recreation Commission.
The Commission was in agreement
with this.
-14-
