The Commission asked <br />that a letter be written to the Hay- <br />ward Planning Commission on behalf o <br />the Planning Commission requesting t <br />be kept informed of the progress of <br />the matter. The Commission's main con- Noes: <br />cern in the development of a creeksi Abstain: <br />park is the safety factor and recom- Absent: <br />mended that the Police Department <br />review this first. <br />Gary Patton, Director of Parks and <br />Recreation, informed the Commission <br />that tine Parks Department has worked <br />very closely ~~ith the East Bay Re- <br />gional Park District regarding this <br />channel as they have this plan line <br />alloted on all of their maps. <br />Mr. Patton indicated that he would <br />like to have the Commission's recom- <br />mendations and include them as a <br />segment of the Study, <br />Chairman Carrigan entered a motion <br />that this matter be submitted to the <br />Planning Consultant when he reviews <br />the General Plan and the Park and Re <br />creation Element.
