4y~,~,sANToy
CITY of PLEASANTON
~~ ~%.
.~
~~° Planning Commission
~rrso t
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DCie : March 28, 1972
Time : 8:00 P.M.
PIOCe: Pleasanton Justice Court
and it will take some time for the
staff to study and prepare recom-
mendations for this Commission rev
City Manager, Bill Edgar, advised th
Commission that the City Council
direction was that we departmentaliz
those particular groups by areas, wh
has been accomplished with this time
table. He further indicated that if
the Commission desired that a more
specific recommendation be made,
such as the review of one particular
area per month, this would not be
feasible.
The Commission expressed the concern
that these studies be made within
the six month period designated.
They did not want to find that at th
end of the six month period all area
had not been reviewed.
Staff indicated that they are com-
mitted to the completion of this
review within the alloted period,
but would prefer not to be committed
to a precise schedule as the depart-
ment is now in the process of nine
projects and that some leeway will
be necessary for the completion of
these studies.
Chairman Carrigan indicated that he
does not expect all areas in the
study to be resolved, but there is
a commitment to address themselves
to it.
-10 -
