4~$~s""~°y f PLEASANTON <br />CITY o <br />~~; . <br />`~~~~° Planning Commission <br />~MiO S <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />~ at8 ; April 25, 1972 <br />Time ; s:os PM <br />PIOCB: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />The Chairman then interjected and requested <br />that the applicant stay with the main point <br />of the hearing - that is, his presentation <br />on a regional shopping center. <br />Commissioner Pereira also expressed confusi <br />as to the manner of the presentation. <br />There was also some discussion on the validi~ <br />of the presentation for Homart being used <br />for the Willow West application. <br />It was also pointed out that the applicant <br />should stay with the land use considerations', <br />and what benefits the City would accrue shou7 <br />the Willow West props rty be designated as <br />the regional shopping center site. <br />Considerable discussion followed. <br />Commissioner Wood felt that perhaps the <br />matter should be continued for 30 days for <br />the Commission to read the folder that was <br />presented to them that evening. <br />Fy <br />The consensus of feeling among the Commissio e <br />was that no presentation had been made by <br />Willow West that evening. Mr. Mariani dis- <br />agreed, claiming that the submittal previous y <br />given them on Homart would still apply to th <br />Willow West application. <br />Commissioner Hirst wished to know if the <br />information submitted that evening was the <br />total facts. Also, that he disagreed with <br />the traffic study. <br />Discussion also followed on how many people <br />connected with the various Homeowner groups <br />actually did receive the package material. <br />About five or six packets in total were <br />sent out. <br />rs <br />-5- <br />
