4~$~sA~Toy CITY of PLEASANT~N <br />~~; . <br />4~ <br />~~° Planning Commission <br />~NM^O t <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />D Gt8 ; April 25, 1972 <br />Time : BIOS PM <br />FIaCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Mr. Castro informed the Commission that the <br />City Council had established a policy for <br />evaluating service station applications, th <br />being done the evening before. <br />The staff report was then presented to the <br />Commissioners, who took a few minutes to <br />study the material. <br />Mr. Castro then explained the points of the <br />new policy and what findings the Commission <br />must make to justify the approval of all <br />new service stations. <br />There are two service station sites designate <br />for the immediate area which are specifically <br />zoned C-F. <br />Mr. Castro felt that this particular site <br />met all the requirements for approving a <br />service station. <br />..There was some brief discussion about the <br />!sameness of service station designs lately <br />coming before the Commission and Mr. Castro <br />explained that the design criteria was not <br />under application at this time. <br />Mr. Ed Fetzer representing Texaco, was <br />present and concurred with all the condition: <br />noted in the staff reports, including the <br />new standard one regarding liability of <br />property owner and/or oil company for remova: <br />of oil company after 90 days vacancy period, <br />etc., also the design review application <br />for any new development on the site within <br />same 90 days, to be adhered to. <br />-2- <br />
