He requested that <br />the Commission consider putting the area in <br />Commercial zoning rather than multiple due <br />to the problem of gravel trucks. <br />Some discussion followed on whether it was <br />possible to lift a study district and place <br />an area in a zoning district other than what <br />previously existed on the parcel. The City <br />Attorney clarified that the Commission is in <br />a position to do this if they wish to. <br />Mr. Castro clarified for the Commission the <br />parcels involved in Study Area B. <br />Mr. Norman Warnow requested tha t a clarifica- <br />tion of wha t a study distric t consists of <br />be made. This was done. <br />Some discussion followed on routing of gravel <br />trucks and Commissioner Hirst felt that with <br />,the opening of E1 Charro Road, this situation <br />(would be alleviated. <br />ommissioner Wood had no comments to offer. <br />The Public Hearing was then closed. <br />Commissioner Pereira offered a resolution to <br />endorse the staffs recommenda tion to lift th <br />study district from Area B. He did however <br />indicate that the City should caution propert <br />owners that due to the sewer situation, prop- <br />erty owners should be advised that no guaran- <br />tees as far as permission to build can be <br />given until the beginning of fiscal year <br />1974-1975. <br />Vice Chairman Pons concurred with the recomme <br />dation of Commissioner Pereira that the Study <br />District be lifted from Area Band further <br />stipulated that if legally possible, appli- <br />cations be discouraged from being processed <br />due to the sewer situation. <br />,_ <br />-2- <br />
