At the time <br />that Mr. Auf der Maur purchased the <br />parcel, they relied on the recommenda- <br />tions made by Livingston & Blayney in <br />their first General Plan. They are <br />requesting that their parcels be ex- <br />cluded from the Study District; also <br />the majority of these lands have al- <br />ready been developed. At this stage, <br />they feel the City should consider <br />returning the designation to its pre- <br />vi ous RM-15 . <br />[r. John Corley, speaking for the <br />sola property located south of Vine- <br />ard, also spoke in opposition of the <br />taff's recommendation that these pro <br />erties be placed in the RM-4. Mr. <br />Orley stated that because of the <br />hape of the Isola property, it would <br />equire substantial changes from what <br />as previously been anticipated for <br />he area. The property to the west <br />f the one in question is zoned RM-25 <br />nd it has been his experience that <br />he Planning Commision, when consid- <br />ring plans for apartment houses and <br />esign review, has historically con- <br />idered the zoning designations of <br />djacent properties. Mr. Corley re- <br />ommended that the Commission continue <br />his property with its current zoning <br />f RM- 2 5 . <br />.rs. Joanne Brown, owner of the Wal- <br />ace/Plato application on Vineyard <br />nd Mavis, spoke and requested that <br />his matter be continued until she <br />an be adequately represented by <br />ouncel.
