CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Dote : August 8, 1972
Time ; 8:00 P.M.
PIOCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
shopping center and the department
store tenants, who will join in the
ownership of the development.
Mr. Fairfield then took the floor
again and spoke of the multiple
development. Major access for these
units will be off Interstate #680
via a frontage road, but other access
will also be through the ring road
surrounding the center. The multi-
ples themselves, consisting of courts
lakes, private parks and public park
land, will be done as close to the
exhibit as the developer can accom-
modate it. He made reference to the
fact that he hoped the School Distric
could relocate their site and find
an alternate location in the multi-
ple area. Mr. Fairfield wished to
emphasize that the main agreement
they wished to have with the City
is that there is a viable regional
project and hopefully, the whole
proposal will be acceptable.
Mr. Fairfield explained that the
178.045 acres proposed for the re-
gional center is an increase from
the original acreage of approximatel
147 acres.
Mr. Pat Gunn, 7817 Flagstone Drive,
spoke next, representing the Stone-
ridge Homeowners Association. He
indicated that the homeowners
association had been consulted
regarding the Stoneson townhouse
project; however, in this instance,
they were not, and Mr. Gunn indicate
to the developers that the associati
would most certainly be interested
in meeting with the Stoneson people
to review this proposal.
-6-
