This interim path <br />will cross Hopyard Road at only two points. <br />The City Attorney advised the Commission tha <br />some recent legislative amendments concernin <br />subdivision maps and General Plan amendments <br />were included in the Commission's packets fc <br />their information. These amendments were <br />adopted on an emergency basis. <br />Mr. Hirst indicated he would be ready to <br />explain and answer any questions raised re- <br />garding these legislative amendments if he <br />were contacted between now and the next <br />meeting date. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY Chairman Garrigan brought up a problem occur <br />COMMISSION MEMBERS ing at the Auf der Maur 111-unit apartments <br />on Vineyard Avenue. This concerned the <br />ingress/egress onto Vineyard Avenue. It was <br />recommended that a STOP sign could be posted <br />at these access points, since motorists <br />traversing Vineyard Avenue were being en- <br />dangered by the manner in which the occupant <br />of these apartments were entering the main- <br />- stream of traffic. <br />Commissioner Pereira requested that the staf <br />direct a letter to the owners of the Amador <br />Center - Essenar Investments - to put up the <br />fencing for that portion that backs to the <br />City park, as per condition of approval. <br />Commissioner McLain brought up the question <br />of the aviation study presently underway, <br />which will include the Livermore Airport. <br />He requested that the City Attorney look int <br />the alternatives in terms of ordinance enact <br />went to protect the City from possible <br />-11- <br />
