4~'$ y <br />~sA~T° ~ CITY of PLEASANTON <br />~ ~•~ ~ ~ • • <br />~~~° Planning Commission <br />`~l.M tD f <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DCtB September 12, 1972 <br />Time : 8:00 PM <br />Pioce; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />MATTERS FOR INFORMATIO The Commissioners were advised that a joint <br />OF COMMISSION study session is scheduled for September 27, <br />1972 at 8:00 PM, at the Justice Court. <br />The Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce has <br />requested a list of the Commission members. <br />Most of the members are listed in the phone <br />book but for those who were not, it was <br />requested not to release home addresses. <br />A field trip is being planned to visit the <br />San Jose area to look at a housing project <br />constructed out of concrete modular panels, <br />which is similar to that proposed by the <br />Pleasanton Greens project. A date of <br />September 14 was set for this trip. <br />Commissioner McLain suggested that the City <br />may want to inform the Housing Authority <br />of the number of units being proposed by the <br />Pleasanton Greens project, in order that <br />they will be aware of the number being pro- <br />vided which would be that number less that <br />the Housing Authority would be concerned <br />with providing. <br />There will be a Town Hall Meeting on <br />October 2, at the Amador High School. One <br />of the items to be discussed will be the <br />various growth alternatives, which will be <br />presented by Mr. John Blayney. <br />Mr. Alan Campbell brought the Commissioners <br />up-to-date on the proposed bike/hike trail. <br />He demonstrated a map indicating that the fi st <br />segment of this pathway will start at the <br />Arroyo del Valle and go up to the Youth <br />Sports Park. This alignment may well be <br />changed in the future to allow for the <br />-10- <br />
