4~'$ y
~sA~T° ~ CITY of PLEASANTON
~ ~•~ ~ ~ • •
~~~° Planning Commission
`~l.M tD f
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DCtB September 12, 1972
Time : 8:00 PM
Pioce; Pleasanton Justice Court
MATTERS FOR INFORMATIO The Commissioners were advised that a joint
OF COMMISSION study session is scheduled for September 27,
1972 at 8:00 PM, at the Justice Court.
The Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce has
requested a list of the Commission members.
Most of the members are listed in the phone
book but for those who were not, it was
requested not to release home addresses.
A field trip is being planned to visit the
San Jose area to look at a housing project
constructed out of concrete modular panels,
which is similar to that proposed by the
Pleasanton Greens project. A date of
September 14 was set for this trip.
Commissioner McLain suggested that the City
may want to inform the Housing Authority
of the number of units being proposed by the
Pleasanton Greens project, in order that
they will be aware of the number being pro-
vided which would be that number less that
the Housing Authority would be concerned
with providing.
There will be a Town Hall Meeting on
October 2, at the Amador High School. One
of the items to be discussed will be the
various growth alternatives, which will be
presented by Mr. John Blayney.
Mr. Alan Campbell brought the Commissioners
up-to-date on the proposed bike/hike trail.
He demonstrated a map indicating that the fi st
segment of this pathway will start at the
Arroyo del Valle and go up to the Youth
Sports Park. This alignment may well be
changed in the future to allow for the
-10-
