4y~~g"N~°y CITY of PLEASANTON
~ '~~ •
,~
~~~° Planning .Commission
xx~v s
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DG18 : October 3, 1972
Time : 8:0o P.M.
Place; Pleasanton Justice Court
The Director of Public Works told
the Commissioners that there are two
temporary light standards on Neal
Street across from Hap's Restaurant,
and the Commissioners were asked to
look at them and give their opinion.
Discussion ensued on the question
of possibly locating the School Dis-
trict Office on a proposed school
site, in the Mission Park area. Thi
site is at the present time, partial
outside the City limits. The ques-
tion was raised whether this is
possible. Economically, locating
a district office on a school site
would, of course, be the most
feasible.
An alternative considered might be
rezoning of the property to the
Office District.
It was agreed that no decision could
be made by the Commission that eve-
ning, with the information provided.
Secretary Castro would contact the
School District Office and discuss
the matter with them before they
submit a formal application.
A letter was handed to the staff
from Mr. Ted Mann of Franklin
Savings & Loan, which he received
from the firm of Schulmerich
Carillons, Inc. This was an invi-
tation to attend a dedication reci
to be given on a Schulmerich
carillon and performed by an out-
standing carillonneur on Monday,
October 23.
-4-
