M. <br />Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Piave; <br />REFERRALS FROM PARK <br />AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION <br />MATTERS FOR <br />INFORMATION OF <br />COMMISSION <br />what it might be, they are all <br />businesses; that the Commission woul <br />have to take a flexible position or <br />strict position, that it is extremel <br />difficult to try and make evaluation <br />under a flexible policy. <br />A motion was offered and adopted to <br />uphold the policy previously esta- <br />blished for home occupations by the <br />Commission, which is they must meet <br />the ordinance requirements and if <br />there is something truly controver- <br />sial, it should be brought before the <br />Commission for review. <br />Resolution No. 72-10 adopted by Park <br />and Recreation Commission to allow <br />American Little League's Pleasanton <br />Division permission to construct one <br />temporary baseball diamond at the <br />Youth Sports Park. <br />Commissioner Carrigan wished to clar <br />fy his understanding that the City <br />was not going to allow any additiona <br />baseball diamonds on a temporary bas <br />as once established they are diffi- <br />cult to remove. The City Manager <br />explained the situation - that in <br />order to qualify under the American <br />Little League Association, it is <br />required that this area have a certa <br />number of baseball diamonds. <br />n <br />The Commission then indicated <br />concurrence with the action taken <br />by the Park and Recreation Commissio . <br />Mr. Castro indicated that he and <br />Don Sooby made a field trip to the <br />Auf der Maur apartments on Vineyard <br />Avenue, and there are several metho <br />of solving this problem. <br />-15- <br />
