CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DQte ~ February 27, 1973 <br />Time : 8:05 P.M. <br />Pla cep Pleasanton Justice Court <br />REFERRALS FROM <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />Approved. <br />Continued to <br />March 13, 1973 <br />MATTERS FOR INFOR- <br />MATION OF COMMISSION <br />Application of Alameda County for remodeling <br />of the fairgrounds, cafeteria and amphi- <br />theater restrooms. <br />The Commission found no discrepancies with <br />the plans submitted for their review and <br />endorsed the remodeling as noted in the plan <br />drawn by Jack Bras. <br />Application of Santa Clara Sand and Gravel <br />Company for a sand and gravel permit, Q-95, <br />to process and remove approximately 5,200,00 <br />cubic yards of material over a 15-year perio <br />from a site located to the west of Calaveras <br />Road, approximately one mile south of Scott' <br />Corner, near Sunol, in Washington and <br />Pleasanton Townships, Alameda County. <br />Senior Pla nner Harris demonstrated a map <br />indicating the site location. <br />Commissioner Garrigan observed that the site <br />is close to the entra nce to Sunol Park. <br />Chairman Pons and Commissioner Garrigan both <br />wished to know whether an environmental imps <br />statement was required and whether this docu <br />ment has been filed, as no statement was <br />included with the County's referral. <br />In addition, Commissioner McLain thought tha <br />a photograph of the site might be helpful. <br />A continuance was initiated pending further <br />information on the EIS, and procurement of <br />a photograph of the subject area. <br />Recommendations of the City of Hayward <br />Planning Commission to Alameda County Board <br />~;of Supervisors Re: Hayward Hills Study. <br />-4- <br />Motion: <br />,Seconded: <br />', Ayes <br />Noes <br />,Absent: <br />'.Abstain: <br />Motion: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />
