The Commissioners <br />wished this requirement incorporated <br />into the new ordinance, plus made a <br />condition of approval. <br />Rather than wait for the new City <br />Attorney to take office, on April 23, <br />Senior Planner Harris felt that this <br />ordinance amendment could well begin <br />now with Mr. Hirst initiating the <br />new write-up. <br />A motion was offered by Commissioner <br />Pereira, seconded by the Chairman anc <br />carried, approving the guidelines as <br />amended, and that the City Attorney <br />begin preparation of a revised ordin- <br />ance to incorporate these new require- <br />ments . <br />Commissioner McLain, who is on the <br />Traffic Committee, indicated that the <br />committee is attempting to draw up <br />three work lists regarding matters <br />pertaining to traffic: <br />1 - In accordance with capital im- <br />Iprovement program. <br />2 - Work that staff will be doing. <br />I3 - Those matters that staff is at- <br />~Itempting to determine whether it has <br />Ito be done now or whether it falls <br />(under the capital improvement program <br />!list. <br />Also, assignments were handed out to <br />committee members to help relieve the <br />staff. His assignment was to investi- <br />gate the S. P. parking lot situation. <br />-10- <br />
