M. <br />Pia CeS Pleasanton Justice Court <br />thought the design and plan for site use is <br />excellent. This feeling was shared by both <br />Chairman Pons and Commissioner Wood. <br />MATTERS FOR <br />COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Mr. Bras indicated the problem of delays due <br />to the Commission only meeting once a month. <br />He thought some direction for the downtown <br />area is critical and needed as soon as <br />possible. <br />It was Commissioner Pereira 's feeling that it <br />order to get something going, the City may <br />have to make some concessions. The Planning <br />Commission are in favor of the design plans <br />and would like to do everything possible to <br />help the applicant. However, the number of <br />parking spaces asked for in the variance is 'I <br />(just too much to be a matter to be passed <br />over without further consideration. He <br />suggested a special meeting to review this ', <br />'case after a few weeks. <br />Mr. Bras agreed to the continuance. Mr. <br />Schwab argued tha t a two-week delay is not <br />sufficient time for all those involved to <br />gather the facts. Mr. Bras indicated that <br />he hoped the City staff, Planning Commissio <br />and Chamber could get together to solve the <br />problems. <br />A motion was entered and adopted continuing <br />this matter for 30 days. <br />Review of possible amendment-to Sec. 2-9.43 <br />of the Ordinance Code referring to height of <br />pole signs in the C-C District. <br />A motion was entered and adopted continuing <br />this matter to the next meeting. <br />rs <br />-7- <br />
