Edna Dobbel - application for a variance to allow the construction of an eight-unit apart ment building with a two-vehicle carport located on the rear property line, and desigi review fora proposed eight-unit apartment building to be located on the southwest corner of Tawny Drive and Norton Way - zoning for the property being RM-1500. The City Attorney had been asked to review this matter and give an opinion as to whethe the Planning Commission, sitting as a Design Review Board, could deny this application on the basis of lack of sewer capacity. The City Attorney had stated in hfs report to th Planning Commission that it could not dis- approve the application on that basis, and Chairman Pons said the question here is re- lated to a variance for the number of requir parking spaces.
