M. <br />PIO~ce; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />DESIGN REVIEW <br />Z-73-44, Approved, <br />Res. 1253 <br />Application of J. Jack Bras/Jerry Bindi to <br />allow construction of a restaurant at 348 St <br />Mary Street, Pleasanton, in the C-C (Commu- <br />nity Commercial) District. <br />The Public Hearing was opened on both <br />the varia nce and design review applications, <br />City Attorney, Ken Scheidig, advised the <br />Commission that with the passage of the in- <br />Ilieu parking arrangement, the variance reque, <br />should be denied and the applicant made to <br />adhere to the new requirements. However, <br />they could go ahead and approve the design <br />of the restaurant, if they so desired. <br />Commissioner McLain wished to know how many <br />spaces the lot currently used by City staff <br />would provide Mr. Bondi with. Secretary <br />,Castro stated that there would be about 80 <br />'spaces; with the removal of the annex build-, <br />ing, this figure would increase to about 117 <br />Mr. Jack Bras indicated that he had no other <br />comments to make since most of them had been <br />stated at the previous hearing. <br />Mr. Joseph Schwab spoke next. He concurred <br />with the recommendations made by the City <br />Attorney, that the variance be denied and th <br />applicant made to comply with the new ordi- <br />nance requirements on the off-street parking <br />There being no further discussion, the Publid <br />Hearing was closed.
