He: position was one of encouragement of passage of the ordinance, since the City is in des- perate need of establishing some sort of parking requirements for the downtown area. Mr. Bras spoke again, reiterating that work has been done in the downtown and it was his opinion that the City's best chances would be to breathe some life into the core area. Mr. Joseph Schwab spoke indicating that he felt this matter should be continued for further review. Commissioner Garrigan confirmed from the City Attorney that affirmative action by the Commission, would merely mean that the matter would be referred to Council for a final decision. ~ The Public Hearing was then closed. A resolution was then entered by Commissione Pereira, seconded by Commissioner McLain, an carried, approving the proposed ordinance amendment. This resolution passed unanimous y. Application of J.
