M. <br />PIO Ce; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br />RZ-73-10, Approved, <br />Res. 1249 <br />Commissioner Ga rrigan suggested that perhaps <br />some temporary relief can be afforded the <br />homeowners through enforcement of the motor <br />vehicle laws by the Police Department, by <br />keeping the illegally parked trucks off the <br />public right-of-way. ~~, <br />Mr. Scheidig assured all present that he is <br />working on the matter. He told them that he <br />could realistically obtain a temporary restr <br />ing order by the end of the week, but that <br />the elimination of the use entirely, would <br />take some time to accomplish. <br />Application to amend Sec. 2-9.40, Article 18~ <br />Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton to require temporary <br />signs concerning events of an emergency, <br />patriotic, religious or civic nature to be <br />removed within seven (7) days of the event <br />!to which they pertain, and to prohibit the <br />posting of political signs on public pro pert <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />As noted in the staff report, this matter <br />was continued due to the absences of Commiss <br />Toners Garrigan and McLain, who acknowledged <br />and thanked the other Commissioners for <br />holding the matter over. <br />Since no comments were forthcoming from the <br />audience, the Public Hearing was closed. <br />A resolution was entered and adopted approv- <br />ing the ordinance amendment as noted in the <br />draft presented by the City Attorney. <br />-3- <br />i <br />i n- i <br />~ I ~ '~ <br />' '~ ~ <br />!
