CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Plaruning Commission <br />MINUTC{~ ~QF REGULAR MEETING. <br />(aOte j September 12, 1973 <br />Time ~ 8:02 P.M. <br />Pla aat Pleasanton Recreation Center <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOP- <br />MENT <br />PUD-73-1, Approved, <br />Res. 1258 <br />A resolution was entered and adopted approv- <br />ing this application, subject to the follow- <br />ing conditions: <br />1 - That the keeping of the sparrow hawk be <br />for one year and that the matter be reviewed <br />at the end of that time by the City to deter <br />',mine if any problems have arisen. <br />2 - That the applicant pay the sum of $1.00; <br />said sum being deemed by the Planning Com- <br />mission to be a reasonable and just amount <br />to compensate for the processing of this app <br />lication. <br />Pico Investors, Inc. - application to rezone <br />from the 0 (Office) District to the P.U.D. <br />(Planned Unit Development) District that <br />property described as Book 946, Page 2549, <br />Parcels 1, 2 and 3, said property located ~ <br />south of Palomino Drive between Concord Ave. <br />and Pico Ave., containing 2.06 acres, more ~, <br />or less, Pleasanton. '~, <br />,Secretary Castro notified the Commissioners <br />'that the City Attorney has expressed dis- <br />~~,satisfaction with the manner in which PUD's <br />have been handled. Formerly, the ordinance <br />was so complex it was difficult for staff to <br />advise applicants how to proceed. The pre- <br />vious City Attorney initia ted amendments to <br />the PUD ordinance in order to simplify the <br />procedures to be followed. Mr. Castro then <br />explained the preliminary, tentative and <br />final map procedures. He felt that the pro- <br />cedure being followed by this applicant was <br />proper and wanted to, at this time, put both <br />the applicant and Planning Commission on <br />notice that this is the proper procedure to <br />follow.
