CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTE>~ ~OF REGUE_AR MEETiN~G. <br />DctO : October 10, 1973 <br />Time; 8:45 P.M. <br />PIGQeZ Pleasanton Justice Court <br />REFERRALS FROM <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />REFERRALS FROM <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Approved, <br />Res. 1263 <br />Councilman Herlihy was in the audien <br />and expressed dissatisfaction with <br />this new precise wording, feeling <br />that it would be unrealistic since <br />it cannot be implemented. <br />Discussion ensued on the referral <br />from the County on the conditional <br />use permit being petitioned by <br />Chris Beratlis to establish a con- <br />tractor's storage yard and boat and <br />recreational vehicle storage yard <br />and variance to retain nonconforming <br />multiple residence uses on the site <br />known as 3830-38.76 Santa Rita Road, <br />said property immediately outside <br />of and contiguous to the City <br />boundary. <br />Since these uses are noted on the <br />City's present General Plan as com- <br />patible, the Commission had no <br />',objection to the County approving <br />them. <br />A motion was offered and adopted <br />indicating no objections to the <br />request as petitioned. <br />Proposed Ordinance Amendment Per- <br />taining to Political Signs. <br />The City Attorney prepared a revised <br />draft of this ordinance, as requested <br />by Council, and this revision was <br />presented to the Commission for <br />their concurrence.
