This word- <br />ing should be noted for at least <br />Foothill Road. <br />A resolution was entered and adopted <br />accepting the Scenic Highways Ele- <br />ment with the following amendments: <br />Page 3 - Paragraph 3 - after <br />"(the Isabel and Vallecitos free- <br />way,)" add, "(if subsequently <br />developed or improved.)" <br />Page 7 - 4) at end of paragraph, <br />add "Rule 20 Funding should not be <br />used for scenic undergrounding." <br />Page 10 - make some reference to the <br />fact that in line with providing a <br />comprehensive scenic route for the <br />City, reference to a bike path to <br />complement said scenic route, espec- <br />ially along Foothill Road, should <br />be inserted. <br />HOUSING ELEMENT <br />Senior Planner Harris stated that <br />the goal of this element is to pro- <br />vide a variety of housing needs for <br />all segments of society, open housi <br />maintaining high quality of housing <br />stock and dissemination of housing <br />information. The report also pro- <br />vides a rundown of the economic <br />makeup of the City and the types <br />of housing offered and costs of <br />homes now existing.
