That amendment be
made either in the Building and/or
Zoning Code, or as an added required
condition on tract maps, that no
buildings constructed for human
habitation be closer than 50 feet
from all active or potentially activE
l fault traces in the planning area.
Page 25 - Regarding Emergency Oper-
ations Plan - indicate that City's
plan be in conformance with the
Alameda County Regional Disaster
Plan and coordinate it through the
Sheriff's Department.
Some discussion ensued regarding
review of the land use elements and
map, which is merely a summation of
what is zoned on the map.
Reports of the land use element were
presented to the Commission that
evening, with the explanation that
the State requires a land use and
circulation element.
Senior Planner Harris indicated that
the CAC has commented on this element
and approved it in concept but felt
other work should be done on the
economic end of implementing it,
and further study was needed on the
circulation pattern shown on the map.
The Chairman felt that the Conser-
vation and Open Space Element and
the Land Use map must be looked at
as recommending a preliminary recom-
mendation, since both items are
pretty far sweeping.
\\
~~~\
-21-
