CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGUi_AR MEETING, <br />Da16 ; December 12, 1973 <br />Time; 8:08 P.M. <br />PIQ~e' Pleasanton Justice Court <br />Commissioner McLain agreed with Mr. <br />i Gale's last comment and felt some <br />wording should be inserted on the <br />.map to explain that area could be <br />considered for limited development. <br />The City Attorney also referred to <br />a hillside ordinance he intends to <br />establish, which could allow some <br />development in this area. <br />It was the consensus of feeling amon <br />the Commissioners that wording shoul <br />be inserted on the plan map to indi- <br />cate that limited development could <br />be permitted in the areas along Foot <br />hill Road, in accordance with public <br />health and safety requirements. <br />Mr. Harris told the Commissioners <br />that this wording would be coordinat <br />into the Open Space and Conservation <br />Element. <br />'A motion was entered by Commissioner <br />Carrigan, seconded by Commissioner <br />,McLain and carried, that some <br />jwording be inserted in the land use <br />;map that limited development could <br />Abe considered along Foothill Road's <br />~~ihill area in accordance with public <br />jhealth and safety requirements. <br />Chairman Pereira felt that the City <br />should check to determine if there i <br />an agreement between Walter Johnson <br />and the City for some density transf <br />in exchange for the park land donate <br />to the City.
