CITY of PLEASANTAN
Plaruning Commission
MINUT~1~ ~Qlt REGUi_AR ME~TINQ,
D~o14 : February 13 , 1974
Tina{ s:os P.M.
P'aCdj Pleasanton Justice Court
The Commission discussed the drainage
and lighting. Mr. Dutchover explaine
that the lighting for this park would
be the standards. Maintenance of the
low lighting is prohibitive and in or
der to avoid glare it is found that
they should be about 9 feet high, suc
as those at the aquatic center.
In regard to parking, Mr. Dutchover
noted that adjacent to the 3~ park is
a 10 acre school site, which could pr
vide some space for parking. The
park does not lend itself to any typ
of development, however, as the resi
dents have requested, the center of
activity will be close to the Cabana
Club. The unimproved area will pro-
bably be used as a green belt and
access to Foothill High School.
It was suggested that when planning
the non-buffer landscaping between
the school site and the park, that
-11-
.~
~~
\\
~~\\
~»»
i
~,~f
1
'l
;~
