Mr. Dutchover explaine <br />that the lighting for this park would <br />be the standards. Maintenance of the <br />low lighting is prohibitive and in or <br />der to avoid glare it is found that <br />they should be about 9 feet high, suc <br />as those at the aquatic center. <br />In regard to parking, Mr. Dutchover <br />noted that adjacent to the 3~ park is <br />a 10 acre school site, which could pr <br />vide some space for parking. Eventu- <br />ally there will be a school parking <br />lot as well. He then noted that some <br />representatives of the Woodthrush <br />area were present at this meeting; <br />Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson. Although <br />this was not a public meeting, they <br />expressed their approval of this <br />park design. <br />~Oakhill Park <br />~`Mr. Dutchover then reviewed plans fo <br />Oakhill Park, which is off Foothill <br />Road in the Falender development. <br />!There were representatives from the <br />homeowners of this area at both the <br />lcitizens meeting and the Park and Re <br />;creation Commission meeting and they <br />indicated their satisfaction with <br />the plan. <br />This site is small and essentially t <br />area is sloped from the street. The <br />park does not lend itself to any typ <br />of development, however, as the resi <br />dents have requested, the center of <br />activity will be close to the Cabana <br />Club.
