Woodthrush Park. i <br />mended to City <br /> <br />Council i <br />Al Dutchover, Park and Landscape <br /> Designer, presented an oral report. '~ <br /> He commented that these master plans <br /> have been reviewed at citizens <br />' meetings, and by the Park and Recre- <br /> ation Commission, by whom they were <br />: approved. He further noted that <br /> Mr. Fred Brooks, who has been making <br /> the presentation for Lampman and <br />. Associates, is ill tonight. but if <br />: there are any questions, Mr. Robert <br />` <br />, Nimiaga, from Lampman and Associates, <br /> is present. <br />° Mr. Dutchover presented the Commission <br /> with copies of the previous plans <br />- which have been approved, including <br />; Century Park . <br />Woodthrush Park <br />Mr. Dutchover described the plan lay- <br />out. Woodthrush Park is a 3~ acre <br />park site. The area would be graded <br />to create a depressed open meadow ~, <br />turfed play area. Also, there will <br />be a 8 ft. pathway all around the <br />perimeter and on into Youth Sports <br />Park. Rather than a specific play <br />ground, equipment and picnic areas <br />will be disbursed throughout the parki <br />Chairman Pereira asked if the turfed ~~ <br />area would be large enough to be used) <br />as an informal practice field.
