Projections <br />for traffic on Foothill Road is for <br />,:40,000 cars per day at peak hours. <br />I,The southern route would probably <br />'serve bike riders better than the <br />,northern route . <br />',That concluded Mr. Bla_yney's comments <br />Next, Mr. Korve of De Leuw Cather <br />Company spoke. He indicated that <br />with the cut-and-cover method, the <br />SPRR could be freed through Pleasan- <br />ton and could utilize the BART con- <br />struction as an instrument to realize <br />the relocation of their tracks. If <br />this route is not taken, the railroad <br />consolidation becomes much more dif- <br />ficult and more costly.
