He <br />cited Laguna Vista Estates on Foot- <br />hill Road as an example of this <br />problem. The Commission was given <br />copies of this letter at the hearing <br />and Secretary Harris, having read the <br />letter, concurred, and entered the <br />document as conditions in the report. <br />(Points of concern noted in the staff <br />report regarding condominium conver- <br />sions after the structures have been <br />built initially as apartments, the <br />(number of dwelling units in the build <br />ding being converted, among other <br />'reasons, were brought out during this <br />;review. Also, the question of the <br />~C. C. & R.'s was discussed. <br />Commissioner Carrigan pointed out the <br />recommendation in the last paragraph <br />of the staff report which recommends <br />that the City investigate the possi- <br />bility of amending the code in such <br />a manner that conversions to condo- <br />miniums be controlled. <br />-10- <br />~~~~~ <br />~~~~~~ <br />,a»»> <br />
