This i <br />resolution was seconded by Commis- I <br />sinner McLain and carried. <br />Resolution <br />Joseph Madden - application to rezon ?Seconded <br />from A (Agricultural) District to 'Ayes: <br />C-S (Commercial Service) District, Noes: <br />approximately five acres located be- Absent: <br />tween Santa Rita Road and the Tassa- ;Abstain: <br />jara Canal approximately 900 feet <br />south of Highway I-580, Pleasanton. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />The applicant, Joseph Madden, was <br />present and expressed willingness to . <br />answer any questions. <br />The Public Hearing was closed. <br />A resolution recommending approval <br />of this request and finding said ~ <br />rezoning to be consistent with the i' <br />General Plan, was entered by Com- <br />missioner McLain, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Wood, and carried. ~ <br />Planning Commission - application of 'Motion: <br />the Planning Commission of the City {Seconded: <br />of Pleasanton to rezone from C-F Ayes: <br />(Commercial Freeway) District to ~ <br />C-S (Commercial Service) District <br />that area bordered by Main Street, <br />Stanley Boulevard, the eastern <br />City Limit line and the Arroyo del <br />Valle. <br />Considerable discussion ensued re- <br />garding the types of uses which are <br />allowed in the proposed district. <br />Secretary Harris explained that the <br />chief difference in the two districts <br />-9- <br />
