q~~~$""r°~ CIT'Y of PL~ASANTON
' C is~i
Planning Qmr~n ors
MINU'~~$ ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Dare ; May 8, 1974
Time : 8 :15 P . M.
PlaCe~ Pleasanton Justice Court
MATTERS FOR
COMMISSION'S REVIEW
Secretary Harris had nothing to add
to the staff report. He further
clarified that the parcel map on
this property has not been finaled
at this time.
The Public Hearing was opened.
Mr. William H. Gale, was present to
speak for the applicants.
There being no questions or further
comments, the Public Hearing was
closed.
A resolution recommending approval
of this requested plan amendment
was entered by Commissioner Pons,
seconded by Commissioner Wood,
and unanimously carried.
Motion
Determination of Use to be allowed Seconded:
in the I-P (Industrial Park) Dis- ~'Ayes•
trict. ;~ •
~.
This review is .the result of a re-
quest from the owners of Casa Verde
Garden Center who wish to engage in
the sale of firewood this winter.
They plan to purchase the wood and
store it on a portion of the parcel
lying immediately north of the exist
ing garden facility. This parcel
extends from Sunol Boulevard to the
W.P.R.R. tracks and the wood would
be stored at the extreme western end
of the site near the tracks. This
request is not a permitted use,
hence the Commission must determine
if it can be conditionally allowed.
Although Secretary Harris expressed
no objection to the use in this part
cular case, the ordinance amendment
which must be made to accommodate
this particular case, would apply
-11-
IX
'X
