M. <br />PIGCA; Pleasanton Justice Court <br />in all instances, and he had doubts <br />that such a use should be considered <br />in the Industrial Park District. <br />Therefore, the staff recommendation <br />is for denial. <br />The City Attorney also emphasized <br />that if this use were allowed, it <br />would become an extension of an <br />already nonconforming use. <br />After further deliberation, a motion <br />was entered by Commissioner Carrigan, <br />seconded by Commissioner Pons, and <br />unanimously carried, recommending <br />that the storage and sale of firewood <br />be conditionally allowed in the <br />Industrial Park District. <br />Determination of Use to be allowed <br />in the C-C (Central Commercial) Dis- <br />trict. <br />Secretary Harris explained that this <br />is a request from Mr. John Johnson <br />to allow firewood sales and storage <br />at 10 West Angela Street, which is <br />the property on the southwest corner <br />of First and West Angela. This is <br />also the site where the Union Ice <br />House is located. Some further <br />history on this parcel was provided <br />for the Commission's information. <br />The staff recommendation was for <br />denial, since it was felt such a use <br />is inappropriate for the C-C District <br />Some discussion ensued on the pro- <br />perty in question and the shabby <br />condition it is in, and the <br />Commission wondered if something <br />could be done to upgrade the pro- <br />perty.
