4y$~SANTOy <br />~~ ~;. <br />~~o <br />0 <br />...o <br />MINUTES <br />Date <br />Time <br />Place; <br />CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />June 12, 1974 <br />8:02 P.M. <br />Pleasanton Justice Court <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />MATTERS FOR INFOR- <br />MATION OF COMMIS- <br />SION <br />Commissioner McLain briefly mentioned <br />a feature article from the Pleasanton <br />Times in a Northern California news- <br />paper; also, there was something in <br />it from ABAG . <br />Mr. Bowling gave a brief summary of <br />'the cost of the various types of <br />decorative sidewalk as follows: <br />(plain concrete walkway - $1.00 a sq.f <br />exposed aggregate - $1.70 a sq.f <br />Bomanite - $1.75 a sq.f <br />When grouting is added to the Bomani <br />process, the cost shoots up to $2.40 <br />a square foot. <br />Mr. Bowling demonstrated photographs <br />of the various patterns and colors. <br />For brick, the cost is $4.00-$4.50 <br />per square foot. <br />The City would like for the Planning <br />Commission to consider some type of <br />process which would vary, not neces- <br />sarily all the same for one block or <br />side of the street. The City, at thi <br />time, has no definite pattern estab- <br />lished, but will return with a more <br />definite design layout. <br />Secretary Harris made reference to <br />the informational memorandum regardi <br />Richards Trucking Company. He said <br />that a memorandum had been sent to <br />the City Attorney and he will be <br />working on it as soon as he can. <br />-10- <br />
