gy$~BANr°~ CITY of PLEASA TON <br />N <br />~~-. <br />~-~~° <br />r~o <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : July 10 , 1974 <br />Time : 8 : 24 P .M. <br />PICCe: Pleasanton Justice Court <br /> the Planning Commission could leave <br /> his property out and allow him to <br /> request the Study District designate <br /> tion or specific zoning when it is <br /> annexed to the City. <br />MATTERS FOR <br />COMMISSION'S <br />REVIEW <br />Home Occupation <br />Approved for six <br />months . <br />',In addition to the objection voiced <br />',by Mr. Thorpe, a letter was received <br />',from William Gale, representing the <br />owners of the Busch properties , who <br />also objected to their lands being <br />'included in this prezoning. <br />A resolution was then entered recom- <br />mending approval of this prezoning <br />request, but deleting the Busch and <br />Thorpe properties as requested by <br />the owners. This resolution received <br />aye votes from Commissioner Carrigan <br />and Chairman Pereira, with a no vote <br />from Commissioner Wood, who felt that <br />he would prefer to see the land re- <br />main as A (Agricultural) lands, which <br />he felt would be easier to negotiate <br />with. <br />Edward Kane = appeal to an adverse <br />decision of the Zoning Administrator <br />to conduct a marriage counseling <br />business from a residence at 444 <br />St. Marys Street, zoning for the <br />property being R-1-6500 (Single <br />Family) District. <br />Secretary Harris explained that from <br />the information he had received on t <br />use, he denied Mr. Kane's request. <br />Mr. John Corley, attorney for Mr. <br />Kane, explained that originally, he <br />was conducting day-time sessions at <br />his St. Marys Street address, but <br />since he moved his office to Fremont, <br />he is only maintaining part-time <br />sessions at his Pleasanton address <br />Motion: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain <br />X <br />-7- <br />
