4~'~ y
~BA~~° CITY of PLEASANTON
\ ,~ ~ ~ ~
~~• Planning Commission
M {D
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Da18 ; August 14, 1974
Time : 8:13 P.M.
Pleasanton Justice Court
Place;
The Chairman suggested the addition
of a condition requiring continuous
maintenance of the property. How-
ever, after further discussion, the
condition was withdrawn by the
Chairman.
ORDINANCE
AMENDMENT
RZ-74-11, Appro
Res. 1311
A resolution was then entered and
adopted approving this application
subject to the conditions noted in
the staff report.
Planning Commission - application
for an amendment to the Ordinance
Code of the City of Pleasanton to
modify the uses allowed in the C-S
(Commercial Service) Zoning District
as enumerated in Section 2-7.08,
Article 8, Chapter 2, Title II of the
(Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasan•
!ton.
Secretary Harris explained that this
review of ordinance amendment is a
result of Council request to study
the uses in the C-S District. The
uses listed do not meet the intent
and purpose of the C-S zone, there-
fore, they are being recommended
for deletion. Mr. Harris wished to
retain two of the uses shown in
the draft ordinance - electric
appliance sales and repair stores,
retail sales and television and
radio sales and repair stores.
Secretary Harris emphasized that
all of the uses listed for deletion
are allowed in at least one other
zone. In addition, a land use
study was made so that none of those
uses being recommended for deletion
will become nonconforming.
esolution:
econded:
.yes:
oes
bsent:
bstain:
-5-
