Also <br />present were Joe Pon and Tony Morici, <br />as well as Jack Bras, Chairman of the, <br />Board of Valley Memorial Hospital. <br />They all concurred with the staff <br />report. <br />Since no one else spoke, the Public <br />Hearing was closed. <br />CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT <br />UP-74-14, Approve <br />Res . 1310 <br />A resolution recommending approval <br />of this amendment as requested, to <br />be forwarded on to City Council, was <br />entered and adopted. <br />Twin Valley YMCA - application for a <br />conditional use permit to allow the <br />operation of a YMCA center (includ- <br />ing offices) in a RM-15 (Multiple <br />Family Residential) zoning district, <br />at 287 Rose Avenue, Pleasanton. <br />The staff report was summarized by <br />Mr. Harris. This is a request for a <br />renewal of their conditional use per• <br />mit. With the previous permit, the <br />YMCA had conducted a teen drop-in <br />center. With this new request, no <br />mention has been made of teen activi• <br />ties. The YMCA has closed their <br />Livermore office and have moved all <br />their activities to Pleasanton. The <br />main use of the premises would be fo <br />office, and if teen activities are <br />later determined to be necessary, <br />applicants would have to reapply. <br />A letter was received addressed <br />to the City Manager from a Mr. <br />Gary Fiorio, who was writing for <br />his grandmother.
