CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
Dats 2 September 11, 1974
Time : s:o9 P.M.
PIQCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
After that matter was effectuated,
it was discovered that the ordinance
code was not up-to-date and conse-
quently, he wished to review with
the Commission the precise uses
which were to be deleted. Some of
the uses recommended at that time
for deletion were already excluded.
A motion was offered by Commissioner
Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner
Wood and carried, stating that the
recommended ordinance amendment in
relation to the previously recom-
mended revision is substantially in
conformance with the one originally
presented.
The City Attorney reminded the
Commissioners that under the new
State Disclosure Act, filings
would have to be made by the end of
September, 1974.
Commissioner Garrigan indicated that
the condition of the playing field
on the school property located at th
end of Abbie Street was brought to
his attention. The lot now being
used for recreational programs is
intolerably dry, and there are
problems of dust, as well as noise.
It was alleged that complaints to
City Hall resulted in the parties
being informed that it is School
property and as such, out of the
City's jurisdiction.
Director of Engineering Services
Don Sooby stated that he would check
this matter out.
-9-
