~~~AaA~A~ CITY of PI~EASANTaN
~~ Plannin Commission
9
IyIINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DCtB ; September 11, 1974
Time; s:o9 P.M.
Place; Pleasanton Justice Court
Kaiser has no intentions of pur-
chasing this rather small parcel for
purposes of gravel harvesting.
Staff feels that there would not be
any grave problems arising if this
property were excluded from quarry
zoning. Another factor which was
considered was that the Busch and
Thorpe lands are peripheral pro-
'perties lying no more than 3/4 mile
'apart, and it is known that the
Thorpe property is poor harvesting
land .
The Commissioners discussed the
possibility of continuing this review
for a month, since Mr. Gale was not
present and Kaiser's statements
regarding the Busch property being
potential good harvesting land,
would need to be verified. However,
the City Attorney stated that there
is a time element of 40 days to
settle this matter.
Following further deliberation, the
Planning Commis~~ion passed a motion
adhering to their original recom-
mendation of July 10, 1974, to
exclude both the Busch and Thorpe
properties from this pre zoning
of quarry lands.
REFERRALS FROM Booklets of the long range master
PARK AND RECREA- lan for certain parks were passed
TION COMMISSION ut to the Commissioners for their
information.
MATTERS FOR otion:
INFORMATION Secretary Harris stated that at the Seconded•
OF COMMISSION last meeting the Commission initiated yes: •
an ordinance amendment to delete and oes•
add certain uses in the C-S District.
