That the rabbits be raised only <br />by the Lasiter family who are active <br />members in good standing in 4-H <br />or FEA. <br />Prezoning of quarry lands reviewed <br />under RZ-74-10. <br />Secretary Harris told the Commission <br />that the City Council, on August 12, <br />1974, made the recommendation that <br />the only property to be excluded fro <br />quarry lands be the Thorpe property. <br />Since this is in conflict with the <br />Planning Commission recommendation <br />who, on July 10, 1974, made the <br />determination that both the Busch <br />and Thorpe properties be excluded, <br />the matter is now before them again <br />for consideration of this new <br />Council recommendation. <br />Mr. Bill Gale, attorney for the Bus <br />property interests, submitted a <br />letter reiterating their original <br />position that they be excluded. <br />Although Kaiser had, in the past, <br />negotiated with the Busch interests <br />for acquisition of the property and <br />claimed that there is harvesting <br />potential of the lands, negotiations <br />were never finalized, and it is the <br />Busch brothers' contention that <br />Motion: <br />Seconded: <br />Ayes <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />fX <br />-7- <br />
