4y~~-BANTOy
~~,
. .
~~: o
0
~ M~0 ~
CITY of PLEASANTON
Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DOie ; October 15, 1974
Time : 8:14 P.M.
PIOCB; Pleasanton Justice Court
Accepted,
Res. No. 1319
(Industrial Park) District.
Review and acceptance of an amend-
ment to the project area boundaries
for the Redevelopment Plan - presen-
tation and acceptance of the final
Redevelopment Plan.
John Bowling, Director of Housing
and Community Development explained
that it was necessary to amend the
boundary lines of the Redevelopment
Project area, at the request of the
County Assessor, who felt it inad-
visable to split parcels of land.
Therefore, the charges to be made
are three in number as noted in the
memorandum to the Planning Commis-
sion dated October 9, 1974.
The Commissioners concurred with the
request, and adopted Resolution No.
1319, effecting this modification.
Mr. Bowling then explained to the
Commissioners that there will be a
delay in adoption of the final
Redevelopment Plan.
It was felt that after extensive
discussion with the legal counsel of
the City on Redevelopment , that
although the EIR could probably be
completed as originally scheduled,
it would not be nearly as well put
together. The delay would mean some
loss of funding affecting the
School District. But the State
law allows school districts to be
reimbursed, and the Redevelopment
Agency would not be obligated to
reimburse the State.
Resolution
Seconded:
Ayes:
'Noes :
Absent:
Abstain:
-8-
