4y~,~-8AHjoy C T
I Y of PLEASANTON
~~~
.~
., ,o.
`~~~~° Planning Commission
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DG18 : November 13, 1974
Time : 8:22 P.M.
PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
;and the Martin property, within the
scope of the existing and prelimi-
narily adopted General Plan. Mr.
Harris concluded by stating that
the revised General Plan shows the
applicant's property as open space
and the Martin property as low
density residential.
The Public Hearing was closed.
The Chairman summarized the pro-
ceedings so far.
Commissioner Butler commented that
as far as he could determine, this
general plan amendment would have
little real effect on the applicant,
but would have significant effect
!on the adjacent property owner.
Commissioner Doherty recognized that
the proposed General Plan, was
legally noticed in the newspapers,
but felt concern over the lack of
communication to property owners .
For this reason, and recognizing
possible hardship to applicant, he
would recommend continuance.
Commissioner McLain felt that a
continuance would not be precedent
setting for this Commission.
motion was duly adopted continuing
is application for one month.
ir. Martin Sr., then wished to make
t entirely clear to all present,
ncluding the press, that the
leasanton Garbage Service has no
nterest, real or implied, on his
roperty. He would hope that no
.ore misleading statements will be
eleased by Pleasanton Garbage
ervice or their representatives.
