Assistant City Mana-
ger Al Campbell explained that when
the initial 1963 plan was reviewed,
the amount of traffic at peak and
normal hours was studied. He does
not feel the land uses being pro-
posed would generate any substantial
changes from the study made then.
Secretary Harris also emphasized that
with this proposal, no road systems
are being considered.
Commissioner McLain did not share
staff's concern regarding the pro-
posed amount of office. To him,
they are distinctly different from
the types of office uses within the
central business district. He would
hope that with the addition of the
PUD, the control can be even more
absolute. Pleasanton needs this and
so long as it is the type of office
uses the City needs, he could en-
dorse the proposal.
Accordingly, a resolution was offered
by Commissioner McLain, seconded by
Chairman Wood and carried, recom-
mending to the City Council the
adoption of the amendment as peti-
tioned by Willow West, Inc.

Richard Burge - application for a Resolution
revision to the existing planned Seconded:
unit development to allow the Ayes:
addition of a second. floor to a com- Noes:
mercial building now under con- Absent:
struction; said commercial building Abstain:
is located on the north side of
Valley Avenue approximately 590 feet
west of Santa Rita Road, Pleasanton;
zoning for the property being C-N
!X
Ix
-14-
